Brown-eyed Stare

Warm my mind in your gentle stove....

"Sometimes at night, I see their faces;
I see the traces they've left on my soul.
And those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul;
I tell you, those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul."
-- Bob Seger, "Travellin' Man"

Am feeling rather blessed this morning, both for those I have grown
close to and loved in the past, and for those who are now in my life.

**Hugs** to all this morning; Wish I could send you each a picture of
the golden sunlight on the Olympics; though it's grey here in Seattle,
the "glowing mountains" are really pretty. :-)

PS: The Nine at 9 this morning is from 1967 (I have an odd fondness for
music of the late 60s). *grins* Yaay!

"Yes, I believe it's getting better,
A little better all the time.
I've got to admit, it's getting better
A little better, since you've been mine;
Getting so much better all the time."
-- The Beatles, "Getting Better"

"Their fingers weep with minarets;
Speak in secret alphabets.
Light another cigarette;
Learn to forget.
Learn to forget.
Learn to forget.
-- The Doors, "Soul Kitchen"

More stuff from the DailyOm people

This one concerns something I'd like to think I understand - at least I
take it pretty seriously. Although not all may agree with me, I hold
firmly that much of our communication lies not in the words we use so
much as the tone we voice them in, and the body language that
accompanies them.

*smiles* As a friend in MI says, "If you're happy and you know it, tell
your face!" :-)
