Om-ish stuff on Fear & Abandonment

This one just landed in my in-box, and it's really good. Hard, but good.

I know most people may think it's weak to feel "needy" to the extent that this entry describes. But through the years, I've come to see that it is actually a measure of *great inner strength* to be able to be vulnerable enough to express a deep fear like that. It takes a LOT of courage to express it, and even more to walk *through* it to the other side.

If you're interested in a snapshot of Olympia PRIDE....

Check out scarlettina's post on it, here. :-)

She did a good job telling the story, and the strawberry lemonade was well worth it -- I did't even itch or break out in blisters -- so yaay for me! I do hope she's feeling better -- it's clear that pain takes a LOT out of people. But she performed like a trooper, and stole the show!!

I will try (especially for my MI friends) to doa phone post from Seattle PRIDE, next weekend. :-) Am representing for bi women and poly people, so there!

*strikes a pose for her peeps*

A caveat from elsewhere....

Since I'm feeling prolific tonight:

It's just as good for this journal as it is in its other location. If you doubt me, go spell "guru" -- say it out loud as you look in the mirror. Listen closely.
