Brown-eyed Stare

Late At Work

Listening to mp3s on my computer at work today, and a few things stuck
out (below). The first is from a spoof from Les Barker, and the second
is some lyrics from Alanis Morissette. Hrm... I'd forgotten that I had
this bunch of stuff on here. From Alanis to Steven Tyler to Carbon Leaf
and Vienna Teng (wow!). Must listen to these, more. Music: good
stuff.

1)
Depression is merely anger that lacks enthusiasm.

2)
"Did you forget about me, Mr. Duplicity?
I hate to bug you in the middle of dinner.
It was a slap in the face how quickly I was replaced.
And are you thinking of me when you fuck her?"

Shang is right; I need to find more wolves to hang out with.

A few more

Here are a few more from Les Barker:

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; be open-minded, but do not lean
forward, or your brain may fall out.

Know that there will be good days, and there will be bad days, and this
is one of them.

Always dismantle and clean the dog before going to bed. But avoid from
using Spot Remover; you may never see him again!

Do not wish for everything, unless you have a really big cupboard.

Remember, if you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day. Teach him to
fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink himself stupid.

And good health is only the slowish way to die.

Never argue with a fool, for he is doing the same.

Never stand between the dog and the lamppost.

Go far, and start as soon as possible.
