First: A big Thank You to southplains for driving my butt home from choir (thereby saving me an hour on the bus, and 2 1/2 hours waiting for another bus). You, sir, are kind and helpful, and even listened to my babbling on the way home. :-) You deserve a medal! :-D

Second: HAPPY BIRTHDAY livingdeadpan!!! I hope you got some good cake, and a fun day. :-)

Third: Choir "stuff" has been taken care of. *takes several long, deep, cleansing breaths* Thank Goodness. It could have gone a lot worse, and I think some important mending took place. I am incredibly grateful to this group for the love and support I received while battling cancer, and I'll be damned if simple things are gonna divide us now. (Note to others: NOT to get in the Deb's way once she's gotten stubborn. It ISN'T pretty.) :-D

Now, I need to continue bringing my MIDI cd to work, to listen while I do my auditing (and remember to NOT sing in my cube). There were a few spots I'm not completely familiar with (along with quite a few plain-boneheaded misses I made, because I was tired and emotionally-drained). Does our Beloved Artistic Director not realize that crying (and attempting to facilitate dialogue and be supportive to others as well) is *exhausting*??? He's a sterner soul than I am, and probably has lots more stamina -- but I can work on that, too.

Fourth: Work continues, but now I can actually accomplish the tasks they've asked me to do. Mirabile vesu. And I HOPEhopeHOPE to hear good things back from that Law Firm, soon. I do, I do. I could really use a permanent job, with benefits, and the chance to really use my talents to the fullest (not to mention a raise in pay, and intellectual stimulation). So I'm crossing fingers and toes -- I should hear by Friday.

And now, I shall commence to go shower, then splat. It's been a LOOOOONG day, and tomorrow is not looking short.

PS: The closest I got to celebrating May Day is right now, clothes-free, bathed in moonlight and laptop-glow. I hope that counts. If not, I *promise* I will seek help from a Loved One soon, and rectify the situation!!! :-)

**Hugs** G'night all.
