Home Flood Tally
Loss (my running tab, so far):

1 Nokia 3300 (replacement cost from Google: $165)
2 pr shoes (~$10.00 for 1 pr, and $45 for the other)
1 80 MG hard drive (gift from friend; found swimming in closet; replacement cost: $198 incl. shipping, Ebay),
5 hardcover books (~$20 apiece),
9 paperbacks (~$6 apiece),
2 hard-to-replace hardcovers (~35 apiece, used)
2 hard-to-replace (rare) paperbacks (~ $45 apiece),
2 scarves (~$10 apiece, one from The Wailing Wall),
~$66.50. in quarters for washers/dryers (19 garbage bags: wash/dry),
1 Soap and bleach for 19 loads of clothes ($13.99 + $2.50)
1 Use of FlexCar for 1 day: $85
1 Co-pay for Dr. visit (2 days later, coughing from mold + exhaustion): $15

One REALLY TIRED & SORE HOMELESS* DEB: Unknown

(Dollar loss: nearly $934.99 -- more to replace sentimetal and rare items)

This doesn't include the tons of $$ that D. will spend on tearing out the carpet, molding, walls and drywall, and replacing them, as well as patching the cracked foundation.

*Note: I'm not entirely homeless; I've had several really sweet offers from friends to come and stay. But it's Really Weird knowing I'm not going 'back home' to Dustin's -- because that room/space DOESN'T EXIST anymore. Just feels.... weird.

The State of the Cranium is: : Exhausted & sore

Er, are you still planning on getting an apartment? How close are you to that? LMK if you wanna talk about it.

{Hugs} Glad you're safe and warm though.
