I are uhffishully a grownup.

No, REALLY.

Lisa and I have purchased a washer and dryer.

I thought the measure of being an adult was owning a car. I was wrong; it is the purchase of large appliances. Whoa. We can wash a whole comforter in the side-loader we got (or my *entire* collection of socks). Color me extremely impressed.

(But don't let me go outdoors in knee-high socks, dress shoes and shorts. PLEASE.)

The State of the Cranium is: : tired still very tired

That truly is being a grown up - congrats!

(I smile every time I drive by the laundry mat that I no longer have to spend hours at during my free time - yay!!!)

I've had a washer and dryer for a long time now. I still haven't grown up.

Nifty

We had a front-load previously. The current top-load came with the house.

I know what you mean - buying a washer and dryer for the first time really made me feel like a grownup, too.

Oh hell yeah. Seriously if I could get a washer/dryer I would. The laundromat stuff is just so much money and so much energy by comparison, and it screws your clothes. Washing machines are one of those things where you can save money by spending the stuff.
