The Omnivore's 100 (meme)
 Ones in bold are ones I've had; crossed out ones are my definite Nos.

1. Venison - have had it -- prefer elk.
2. Nettle tea - nope, am allergic to them; tried the capsules.
3. Huevos rancheros - haven't had, but would prolly like.
4. Steak tartare - sounds good -- have not had.
5. Crocodile - I might try it.
6. Black pudding - probably not; the blood sausage was enough for me. 
7. Cheese fondue - Yum!
8. Carp - Tried it, and didn't like it, except in Gefilte fish.
9. Borscht - Nom!
10. Baba ghanoush - Good as long as the eggplants aren't too burnt
11. Calamari - Nom!
12. Pho - Delicious!
13. PB&J sandwich - This was a regular lunch for me as a kid
14. Aloo gobi - I have no idea what this is.
15. Hot dog from a street cart - Yes! Nom!
16. Epoisses - No idea.
17. Black truffle I might, if I could afford it.
18. Fruit wine made from something other than grapes - Gram's was pretty darn good.
19. Steamed pork buns - Duh!
20. Pistachio ice cream - One of my favorites!
21. Heirloom tomatoes - OMG, especially the yellow cherry ones.... Nom!!!
22. Fresh wild berries - Again, duh! (Hello? northern MI? In the summer?)
23. Foie gras - I might try it.
24. Rice and beans - Definitely ! Nom!
25. Brawn, or head cheese - I don't care for it, but my Polish grandfather *adored* the stuff.
26. Raw Scotch Bonnet pepper - Um, no. I'm a 'heat wuss'.
27. Dulce de leche - OhMyYes. But in VerySmallQuantites.
28. Oysters - Unfortunately, no. I've tried them on the half shell and fried -- and both times I didn't like them.
29. Baklava - Oh, yes.
30. Bagna cauda - Not sure what this is.
31. Wasabi peas - Yes -- although it's not my first choice.
32. Clam chowder in a sourdough bowl - Oh yes!
33. Salted lassi - Never had one -- but I like mango lassies!
34. Sauerkraut - Yes, if it's cooked right.
35. Root beer float - not anymore (root beer is a migraine trigger for me).
36. Cognac with a fat cigar... Cognac, yes. Fat cigar, NO. (Cigar smoke is also a migrane trigger for me.)
37. Clotted cream tea - Yes! Tasty!
38. Vodka jelly - I'd try it.
39. Gumbo - As long as the 'slimy' okra was cooked properly.
40. Oxtail - Don't know if I've had this.
41. Curried goat - not sure.
42. Whole insects - Um, not sure.
43. Phaal - Don't know what this one is.
44. Goat's milk - I would try this.
45. Malt whisky from a bottle worth £60/$120 or more - Yes, but not a lot.
46. Fugu - Probably not.
47. Chicken tikka masala - Yes!! YUM!!
48. Eel - Not sure. It's big onthe 'squick out factor' list.
49. Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnut - Yes, but it's best while warm off the line.
50. Sea urchin - No. Tried it and disliked it. A LOT.
51. Prickly pear - I would try it.
52. Umeboshi - I'd try it.
53. Abalone - Not sure how it's cooked.
54. Paneer - Yes! Especially aloo paneer!!
55. McDonald's Big Mac Meal - I've had this, but the aloo paneer (above) is tastier!
56. Spaetzle - Have not had in a LONG time.
57. Dirty gin martini - Um, no. Vodka martini, no gin (family allergy, and I don't want to chance it).
58. Beer above 8% ABV - Hell yeah! The beers in Germany and the Czech Republic were prolly all this.
59. Poutine - Um, french fries with cheese and gragy? I'd try it.
60. Carob chips - They're not too bad, but I prefer chocolate.
61. S'mores - Yum... but only one.
62. Sweetbreads - Nope. I don't care for them.
63. Kaolin - Um.... to me, clay is to be applied to the skin as a masque, or made into pottery. NOT eaten.
64. Currywurst - Sounds good; I'd try it.
65. Durian - Still not sure on this one.
66. Frogs' legs - No. I can't stop thinking about the little crippled froggy.
67. Beignets, churros, elephant ears or funnel cake - I've not tried Beignets, but the other 3 I have. Tasty if fresh, otherwise ew.
68. Haggis - Probably not.
69. Fried plantain - Yes! I used to have this for breakfast when I was at UWI in Trinidad. Delish!
70. Chitterlings, or andouillette - Don't know.
71. Gazpacho - Tasty if made without peppers (allergy).
72. Caviar and blini - Blini? Perhaps. Caviar is fish bait to me.
73. Louche absinthe - I would try it (and prolly pay for it).
74. Gjetost, or brunost - Not sure what that is.
75. Roadkill - Um... no.
76. Baijiu - Not sure what it is.
77. Hostess Fruit Pie - I ate them as a kid, but not now.
78. Snail - Not sure.
79. Lapsang souchong - I'd try it - I like tea.
80. Bellini - Not sure.
81. Tom yum - Something Thai, but what...?
82. Eggs Benedict - Yes. I like most breakfast foods.
83. Pocky - Definitely.
84. Tasting menu at a three-Michelin-star restaurant - I might try it.
85. Kobe beef - Yes!
86. Hare - Probably not.
87. Goulash - Tried it in Hungary, and theirs was good. Mine is okay.
88. Flowers - If edible.
89. Horse - Um, not intentionally.
90. Criollo chocolate - Not sure what this is.
91. Spam - I've eaten it, but it's more fun to carve.
92. Soft shell crab - I'd try it.
93. Rose harissa - not sure what this is.
94. Catfish - I might try it.
95. Mole poblano - not sure.
96. Bagel and lox - I don't eat many bagels anymore, but lox can be tasty.
97. Lobster Thermidor - I'd try it (lobster = tasty!!)
98. Polenta - tasty if made well.
99. Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee - Of course!!! One of my favorites!! *drools*
100. Snake - I might try it, but am not sure.

I love unagi. Mmmm.

Gjetost is a goat cheese, brown. I don't like it, but my brother adores it.

Bellinis are alcoholic beverages made with fruit and champagne. I adore peach bellinis.

Tom yum is a type of soup. I prefer tom kah.

Aloo gobi is an Indian cauliflower dish. Mmm.
