LOTS of questions Meme

Looking back, did you ever waste too much time on a certain boy or girl?
Yes, but not in the way that most people would think. I've come to realize that, while this person was a catalyst for certain important things in my life (and the memories will always be precious to me), I think I met them too soon -- both in my own life, and in theirs. *sigh*

Anything been heavy on your heart lately?
Yes. My sister and I think that my Dad may be homeless (and too proud to say so), and yet neither one of us can really help him. Gram has an inoperable node on her lung, and I probably will not see her again this side of the veil. And my nephews are growing up before I have a chance to get to know them.

What's your favorite card game?
I really enjoy Euchre, especially with people who know how to play it.

Who was the last person you called?
Um, Jim. Calling him back at the doctor's office.

Anything you're giving up on?
I'd like to think of it more as focusing my energy in a different direction --I may surrender things I cannot change, but I don't like 'giving up.'

Are you open about your feelings or closed off?
Pretty much open (Hells, ask anyone who knows me). But there are a few things that I rarely share.

Think of the person you told "I love you" last, did you mean it?
Yes. I don't say it unless I mean it.

Do you hate any of your ex's?
No -- I'm one of those odd people who still loves (or at least thinks fondly of) everyone I've dated. Even so, I have a few people that I ought to 'love at a distance.'

What's your biggest turn on?
Wow.... hard to define as one thing. Character/substance of a person, definitely 'brains,' passion and love of life are also big.

Who would you say you're best friends with right now?
I think Jim is still the closest, followed by my Ayni sister/roommate, and other members of my 'pack.'

What's your theme song right now?
Don't know on that one.... far too many.

What's a goal you wanna reach soon?
Condensation.

Ever cried because of happiness?
Yes, lots of times.

What's some things people hate about you?
I was recently told during a review that people tend to feel dumb around me, and intimidated, beause I'm so smart. I find that funny, because I don't think of myself as overly smart, just good at one kind of knowledge.
'Booklearning' is only one kind of knowledge, and there are many other areas of knowledge that I still need to learn. And me, intimidating? Whoa. I don't see myself that way, nor do I try to present myself that way.

Thought about someone today?
Several.

What do you hate about your best friend?
I used to say that I hate that he lives so far away -- now he lives in the same house. So, I don't know.

Are you in love with the last member of the opposite sex you spoke to?
I love him, but am not in'in love with' him.

Overall mood today?
Better than earlier (funny how talking with a friend can help).

What's something you say too much?
I tend to repeat what others say, as a question (if I didn't hear it right). A friend says I'm like a 'walking Turing program.'

Know anyone who's been drunk recently?
Umm... not really.

Are you happy with who you are?

Yes. I am evolving and growing (as best I can), and I like the person I see in the mirror.

Do you judge others?
I do, although I try hard not to. But I am my own harshest critic -- most of the critical stuff is directed inward. I am working on this, too.

Do you enjoy drama?
I feel (sense) a great deal, but no, I do NOT like 'drama.' If someone heavily sandpapered the skin of your entire body, then threw you into the salty ocean, how would *you* feel? Is pain/discomfort drama? And could you keep from expressing that discomfort? Some days (when I am out of cope), that's what it's like for me. And expressing that hurt is not drama; expressing it loudly to everyone I encounter, and wallowing in it -- THAT's drama.

Would it hurt seeing someone kiss with the last girl/guy you kissed?
Nope - I'm poly, and I would probably be happy for them both, and/or be turned on.

Who do you tell everything to?
No one. Some people hear some things, but no one hears everything from me.

Where do you live?
Not far from the Seatac airport..

How many friends do you have?

What is the last movie you watched?
In entireity? Probably The Matrix a week or so ago.

Who's bothering you right now?
The fact that my grandmother is dying and that I probably won't get to see her before she goes.

Yes.  Kisses are GOOD.

When was the last time you talked to one of your siblings?
My sister called to wish me a Happy Birthday, and had the kids talk with me. That was sweet.

All the time. Several people.

I am up, showered, dressed, and nearly done with my work day (thank GOODNESS).

When was the last time you cleaned your room?
A few weeks ago -- it needs it again.

Are you taking anyone for granted?
I hope not.

Where do you hide your money?
What money?

How did you wake up this morning?
Tired and allergy-laden, with a headache, itchy, watery eyes, and a wicked cough. Someone was merciful and drove me to work.

Which is more romantic: sunrise or sunset?
Sunset. Am not a morning person.

Have you lost friends in the past years?
Yes.

A cartoon our Director had re: chardonnay. ;-)
